La Borsa da Vino Wine Bag is our first circular product. The eco friendly wine tote is handcrafted in a family owned factory in Scandicci, Italy and made with UPPEAL™ a vegan leather, innovated by and Frumat.
Apples are harvested in northern Italy to produce apple juice, then 100% of the waste is dehydrated into apple dust and repurposed through a sustainable production process and transformed into a high quality leather alternative material. Our packaging is recycled craft material and export is by land and water for the benefit of the environment.
The idea for the bag came about in 2020, during lockdown in New York City. Balancing the emptiness in the city, while anticipating when we could unite and enjoy simple luxuries together again... like great wine, with great company.
La Borsa da Vino wine carrier is meant to be gifted and re-gifted. Every bag created, we plant trees with the Arbor Day Foundation, to support a circular economy, humanity and the environment.
